Our ‘Grand Vin’ is the flagship of Château Canon Chaigneau, crafted for decades by our legendary winemaker Thierry Garnaud, ex cellar master at Cheval Blanc, with a dedication to traditional methods. Matured in both new and seasoned French oak barrels, to respect the identity and character of each vintage through a moderate extraction process and careful aging.
Composed of approximately 95% Merlot, balanced with Cabernet Franc and Pressac, the wines express the complexities & finesse of our great terroir and winemaking heritage. It embodies the refinement & elegance of Château Canon Chaigneau with layers of complexity, true to our long- standing 2000 year legacy.
